New Mills driver fined for using phone
A New Mills man has been fined for using his mobile phone while driving.
Gordon Wilson, 34, of Eaves Knoll Road, admitted using his phone while driving his BMV on Union Road, New Mills, at 1.45pm.
On Monday, High Peak Magistrates sentenced him to three penalty points on his licence and ordered him to pay a £135 fine, £160 costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
